Between January 22 and 24, members of the RINKO project visited Linz and Wels, where they collaborated with members of the RINOvacija project and attended several engaging workshops. During the study visit, they explored innovative approaches to learning and developing computer science competencies in the following workshops:
-
The NTC method for stimulating brain development
-
Creating interactive projects using sensors
-
Learning the basics of algorithmic thinking with visual programming
-
Using smart technologies for personalized learning
-
Creative solutions through the development of educational applications
RINKO project members also contributed by leading the workshop Learning the Basics of Algorithmic Thinking, where they playfully introduced the concept of divide and conquer and the quick sort algorithm. Participants discovered how to explain complex algorithmic processes in a simple and interactive way.
For further ideas on the creative development of fundamental computer science knowledge, they visited the ARS Electronica Center in Linz and the Science Center Welios in Wels. These centers inspired them with innovative solutions and interactive exhibitions that connect technology, science, and art.
The study visit was an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge, ideas, and inspiration for further work within the RINKO and RINOvacija projects.
