On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, we carried out professional training for educators at the Murska Sobota Kindergarten, titled “Effects of Computer Science and Informatics.” The event was organized by the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor.
The principal, Borut Anželj, first introduced the Murska Sobota Kindergarten, followed by a presentation of good practices from the kindergarten. Afterwards, participants split into workshops, where they explored the effects of computer science in different contexts:

The event was marked by a rich exchange of ideas, collaboration, and creative approaches to bringing development of fundamental computer science knowledge in kindergartens closer to the youngest children.
