Prof. Dr Maruša Laure from the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, presented the activities of the RINKO project at the Fall-o-Ween Children’s Festival in Boston, USA. The event focused on exploring creative approaches to developing children’s foundational knowledge of computer science and informatics in a playful and accessible way.
The festival attracted many children and parents, who eagerly participated in the RINKO activities and were inspired by their central goal: connecting play, creativity, and fundamental computer science concepts. For many children, the highlight was making binary bracelets, which combined fun with learning about digital systems.
Through such initiatives, the RINKO project continues to successfully promote its ideas and good practices beyond Slovenia’s borders, emphasising an inclusive, research-driven, and modern approach to early learning.
